The Stand Alone Banquet for 2010 has been canceled.  Thank you all for your nominations and participation in the 2009 Ohio Gold Star Program.

    Unfortunately, we only had 19 individuals nominated for 2009 consideration.  We received 1 Gold Star Certificate, 3 teams (5 members, 2 members and 3 members) and 8 for the Solid Gold Award.   Because the numbers were so small the Committee had little choice but to combine the 2009 with the 2010 nominees and hold a combined year award luncheon in April 2011. 

    The selection committee did award the 2009 Team award to Ashland County and the Telecommunicator of the Year for 2009 to The Columbus Division of Police.

    Everyone will be contacted again in early 2011 with the details of the awards luncheon.   I apologize for the delay in recognizing all the 2009 winners and nominees.

   I would like to  get pictures of all the 2009 nominees, so I have them ready to go next year.    I would appreciate your cooperation and request that you send me a digital photo of your nominees.  We like pictures in the workplace if possible.  A single picture of the entire team usually looks better than a bunch of individual pictures, but I can use anything you can send me.  I appreciate your help.  Please contact me if you have any questions.
